As the director of client engagement, Kate serves as the lead contact for IMPAQ Strategy clients. She provides project management, strategy, registry design, and healthcare non-profit governance and planning expertise.
She has overseen the development and operations of quality and research clinical patient registries, and national quality measurement programs, with more than 15 years of experience in database project management in the fields of healthcare and education. She works closely with diverse stakeholders, including physician-led committees, industry partners, and government agencies.
Prior to entering the field of healthcare, she designed and implemented a workflow-based data management system to track teacher certification candidates for an education nonprofit.
Kate has previously worked for the American Urogynocologic Society, American Gastroenterological Association, American Academy of Physician Assistants, American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence, and the Corporate Executive Board. She holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
Kate spends her free time at the park with her husband and young son. She is active in her neighborhood, and previously served as the president of the board of directors for a mixed income housing community with the goal of keeping housing affordable in Arlington County.
