Before coming to IMPAQ Strategy, Paul held an internship with the Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC), a small but important department of the Maryland State Legislature. While at the HSCRC Paul served as a jack of all trades, from facilitating stakeholder work groups to supporting the methodology department with data analysis. Following his time at the HSCRC Paul served as a research associate at Social and Scientific Systems (SSS) where he primarily supported a contract for his previous employer, the HSCRC. Due to his understanding of the practices and content of the HSCRC Paul acted primarily as a project coordinator and content analyst.
Paul graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology.
Paul believes collaborative approaches, open mindedness, and the smart use of technology are enormous contributors to the success and efficiency of a business. As Strategy consultants it is imperative to be able to leverage the experience of those around you and to approach problem solving with a creative and open mind. Technology, in furthering this concept, can not only streamline but boost the creative process and help a team of individuals coalesce into one cohesive unit.
Paul grew up north of Baltimore, playing lacrosse and spending time with his diverse and convoluted family. In his college years Paul became interested in public health and societal issues which drew him to pursue a degree in sociology and write a research paper on the health of Baltimore City residents. Paul enjoys the simpler things in life; spending time with his girlfriend, hanging out with his dogs, and lounging on the beach.
