Steve is responsible for IMPAQ's Corporate Development and executive oversight of IMPAQ Strategy. He has more than 30 years of experience in providing vision, leadership, and business acumen to a wide variety of organizations in the healthcare, education, research, information services, and technology industries. He has a proven track record of success in creating new business lines and expanding current product and service reach in start-ups, nonprofits, and established companies.
Prior to joining IMPAQ, Steve was the founder and president of eHealthFirst, the company that created Hospital Insight™, an innovative provider-based population health benchmarking tool acquired by UnitedHealthcare. As Senior Vice President of the American College of Cardiology, he developed the business strategy that transformed the National Cardiovascular Data Registry into the nation’s largest and most successful medical society registry. He also led the creation of a digital product strategy that modernized distance learning, launched ACC's patient engagement website (CardioSmart), and created a video-based outreach channel. As Vice President of Inovalon, he established the Health Data Insights business line, the cornerstone of which was the MORE² Registry™, a revolutionary data warehouse of nearly 10 billion medical events supporting population health management and life sciences research. Steve holds a bachelor's of science in Business Administration from Washington Adventist University, with a minor in Marketing and Communications.
